airt Launches New Branding and Marketing Communications Programs for Rubicon Gear

High-Precision Gear Manufacturer Streamlines Name; Revamps Brand Image; Expands Resources for Customers

Long Beach, Calif. — The airt group advertising and design agency today launched a new brand communication program for its client G&N Rubicon Gear, located in Santa Ana, Calif. The branding and marketing updates reflect the company's renewed focus as a leading provider of high-performance motion-control and power-transmission components and subsystems.

In response to customer feedback and changing industry dynamics, the company will now market its products under the name Rubicon Gear, dropping the prefix “G&N.” To reflect this change, airt developed a new company logo, along with a bold blue-and-grey design scheme that emphasizes Rubicon Gear's new campaign theme: "The Power of Precision."

“The abbreviated version of our name, Rubicon Gear, has become synonymous with expertise in advanced gear technology,” said Ryan Edwards, president of Rubicon Gear. “Since many customers referred to us by this shortened name anyway, we worked with the airt group to modify our brand image accordingly. The airt team also helped us update and expand our website, product literature and multimedia presentation to reflect the full scope of our services to customers.”

Visitors to the company's previous website (www.gnrubicon.com) now will be redirected to the new URL (www.rubicon-gear.com), which features:

  • An improved user experience along with high-quality graphics, photos and slideshows that depict the company's high-precision parts and gear-manufacturing capabilities.
  • At-a-glance information about both custom, built-to-print gear solutions and gear and spline manufacturing services for customer-supplied components.
  • Detailed descriptions of the company's machining capabilities, manufacturing processes, value-added services and quality standards.
